Cheese Chicken & Wings (no wings in this photo)
It seems as if these days I've just been stuck in uni studying and at home... So, another catch-up session was made.. and it was between Maru and Wara Wara Izakaya, and the decision was made and Wara Wara it was... Located basically right next to each other on Elizabeth St in Brisbane CBD... Wara Wara Izakaya is probably the newest korean restaurant that I know of in Brisbane CBD at the moment... The owner is the same owner as Koogi Hair, also in the CBD..

There are seatings inside and outside, and the interior is good looking.. May be one of the best out of all of the Korean restaurants I have eaten in... I like the way how they have an izakaya feel but at the same time there's a random zig-zag wooden table right in the middle, and then there is a booth seating area... well, basically it seems as if they've decided to combine various feels and seating arrangements around... and there are also outside seatings for those who like the fresh air...
Was given a seat inside, but ended up sitting outside... It was quite breezy that evening from what I remember... Took awhile to pick out of the different dishes they had across from Korean dishes to Japanese to Chinese... Sashimi, Sushi, Fried Chicken, Typical korean dishes, japanese dishes, they were all basically there...

Soju
Been awhile since I drank soju, so we decided to get a bottle for tonight.. Though they didn't have the one I usually drink, but this was also good... Though I couldn't really tell much of a difference but then the guy at the counter ended up telling us that he preferred this one better than the other one, and that this one was somehow more popular than the other one... I don't know how the conversation came out because I remember we were paying and then he started up a chat about how the food was and all..
All of the spicy dishes would have a spicy rating shown by the number of chillies and basically meter... the more chillies shown then the spicier it is... I didn't get to photo the menu so I could show, but I will next time during my re-visit...
Pork Ribs
Ordered Pork Ribs... and this had about 2 chillies from what I had remembered... It came out first and quicker than the other dish we ordered... This portion was big... And I have to say, maybe one dish was probably enough... but usually depends how hungry you are at the time right... This dish had a combination of Pork Ribs, potatoes and various vegetables... it was all mixed and cooked in a spicy korean sauce (as usual)... I did like this dish, but maybe I would've probably would like to try a different one next time...
Pork Ribs
Next dish ordered was the Cheese Chicken... and the weird thing was that this actually came out after the Pork Kalbi... Which I thought would take longer.. Due to the windyness outside and we were sitting outside, the Pork Kalbi started to get cold as we waited for the Cheese Chicken... and we also had to ask about the order because it took quite awhile to get to our table...
Cheese Chicken
It did say 3 chillis on the menu, and I do have to say... It was spicy.. But it was yummy as well... But maybe because the spicy hit more due to the fact that it was also still hot... But the combination of chicken and cheese as a korean dish, I wouldn'tve have suspected it... I mean, yes, I  have seen it around in some other korean restaurants as well, but I just never seemed to order it...
Cheese Chicken
The dish had chicken, rice cake, onions and other assorted vegetables which then is topped with rice served on a hotplate...
the two dishes... and the soju shot glasses..
And these were the chicken wings that came with the Cheesy Chicken... 2 Serves of the chicken were given.. a dumstick and a breast...
Chicken Wings & Salad
I have to say that this chicken wing was actually delicious though a tad spicy... I have heard that their Garlic Chicken is to die for, with the garlic zing and their crispy outer layer of the chicken... It reminds of a somewhat Asian KFC...
Chicken Wings
Instead of doing a re-visit where it only consists of one dish, I thought I'd just add it on to this blog post instead.. and my next re-visit would actually have more dishes...
Pork Belly & Pork Trotter Deluxe
There is a seperate dish which either only has the Pork Belly Wraps or the Pork Trotter Wraps... Basically the reason why they named it a Wrap is because, you are served the meat with the essential condiments; Lettuce, Kimchi, Garlic, Jalapenos and Veges... You then would basically try and wrap abit of everything in the lettuce...
Pork Trotter
I didn't get to take a photo of the wraps I made sadly...
Pork Belly
Definitely would want to come back here and try their Garlic Chicken and their other dishes as well~ and I heard that they have some lunch deal as well..
