Smoked Salmon & Spinach on pesto scrambled eggs
Little Larder lies at the corner of Moray St and Barker St, named one of the best brekky place around in New Farm, we came here. We arrived in the morning and it was quite not too hard finding parking since there were street parking available. Seats were available but limited as the other tables and seats seemed to have been filled.. Before coming, I had a quick look through at the menu online so I had an idea of what to order.. well, unless something changed my mind..

It looked liked that it was owned or run by a group of mums, there were no uniforms or such. Some were nice and gave us the menu and a bottle of water and plastic cups, however there was one or two women that weren't too nice.
Flat White
'Steak & Eggs' ($19) cannot be altered but I reckon it's good the way it is. It consists of 180g petite eye fillet, cooked med eggs, tomato, mushrooms and port jus all on toast (which is basically a burger... not really toast).

You may call this somewhat as a breaky burger, giving you the protein, veges and what you need for energy. It was really filling so if you have a big appetite or like those big breakfast, I think this could do you good. Instead of ordering their fry up or their larder plate, you could try this instead.
'Pesto Scrambled Eggs' ($16) was served on a toasted sourdough with a choice of either smoked salmon & spinach or grilled ham and spinach and I chose the smoked salmon and spinach. I don't really go for ham or such unless they're bacon.. heheheh..
Presented nicely on a big white plate, a side of tomato relish and Western Star butter which was nice as there was no sauce on the sourdough nor spread. The light balsamic drizzle and the smoked salmon, along with the scrambled eggs combined well when eaten together. The pesto scrambled eggs was a nice change from the usual plain scrambled eggs. The toasted sourdough was quite hard to bite and cut through since it was quite thick, also, we didn't end up finishing it either.
