Getta Burger, Carina, Brisbane

Who is behind Getta Burger? Well, do you know That BBQ Joint food truck? Well, the mastermind of the food truck has finally decided to open their own American serving burgers with weekly specials to the neighbourhood.. Their motto "Just Good Burgers" delivers delicious and mouthwatering burgers even on socmed you may have seen.
Browsing through the menu, we decided to share two burgers and fries. I was actually trying to look for the fries that everyone has been talking and taking pictures of, the one topped with meat and sauce. But when we saw the menu on the board, there wasn't any sign of it.. which made me think maybe they didn't have it at this branch or I dunno maybe I misread the social medias.
'Getta Fries' ($4.50) was what we ordered and it was shoestring fries seasoned with their own Smoked Salt Dust. After it was ordered, I had found a pamphlet of their menu and found the fries I originally wanted, their Getta Filthy Fries.. ah well, maybe next time.
We also added extra cheese ($1) which didn't seem worth it when the dish arrived since the shoestring fries was cold quite quickly, it wasn't fully seasoned with alot of the seasoning on top but the fries underneath didn't have any. Also, the cheese was just a tad too little I think, being only placed in the middle and melted whilst the other fries did not get any hint of any cheese at all. It was just a bit of melted cheese right in the middle on top of the fries, that's it really.
'The Getta Burger' ($12) was their basic burger I might call it, Beef patty, lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, pickle, tomato relish and mayo. The bun was crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. The beef patty was thick and juicy and the combination of the lettuce, tomato, cheese and onion just makes your normal hamburger a bit more fun to eat. However, it wasn't wow, it was just okay.
'Getta Beef Brisket' ($13), a 12 hour smoked beef brisket with cheese, slaw, pickle and bbq sauce. The smoked beef brisket was smoked nicely and was not greasy either, combined nicely with the fresh slaw. The hint of melted cheese was good but the bbq sauce overpowered the whole burger, even the smoked beef brisket and the slaw.
I enjoyed the Beef Brisket burger more than the Getta burger however that is just my personal preference. Although it may not have been as healthy, but I enjoyed the fresh slaw combined with the smoked beef brisket and the simple cheese combined. It was however very saucy with the bbq sauce which made the base of the burger bun quite soggy in some areas.
