Trying to bring a refreshing different approach of a Semi Fast-Food Noodle bar, open kitchen and modern asian food, Chopstix is located in Plaza Indonesia Mall to offer those who aren't looking for the higher end restaurants but still feel as if they were eating good quality at an ambience that suits.

Pickled cucumber and chilli, a traditional pickle where most restaurants would serve this with every meal.

'Fried Chicken Skin' (IDR38.8k ~=AUD$3.8) was one of the appetizers I was recommended to try as they were actually, surprisingly, pretty good I do have to say myself. The dipping sauce wasn't a favourite of mine as it seemed to not be thick soy sauce or hoi sin sauce, but a tad sour as well. Just by eating the fried chicken skin by itself, it gives any dish that extra crunchiness. Also, it wasn't sickening too after you have had a few.

'Kuey Teow Siram Sapi (Flat rice noodles with beef in a thick sauce)' (IDR49.8k ~=AUD$4.9) is the best description I could think of. A very generous serving with thick flat rice noodles served with vegetables and slices of beef. The sauce tasted a bit like gravy of some sort, so instead of it being stir fried as the usual Kwae Teow, this was poured with a sauce on top which is also another popular dish to have.

'Sepang Char Kuey Teow' (IDR49.8k ~=AUD$4.9) was their basic kuey teow which we basically know it as Combination Kwae Teow over here. It wasn't too bad and it had that hint of chilli in it, it had a generous serving of vegetables and fish cake and seafood however I did feel that it could've been drier than how it was. It seemed a bit wet to be a stir fry.
